Eaten here every time we have been in Finale Ligure and cannot fault it, fast service, great location on the sea front, friendly staff and good food!

Of course, there may be restaurants better suited for individual dishes, but for the prices asked for, one cannot desire more.

Excellent service, they keep the kitchen open until unusual long hours. Portions are abundant and the food delicious. Even the house wine is excellent. Very nice tattooed waiter made up for a misunderstanding in our order :)

Very very kind staff. I spilled my espresso and the gentleman appeared with a new one and refused to charge me for it. They also left the tv to play nba basketball because we wanted to watch. Thank you guys!

I stopped here for a quick dinner and was very pleased. The pizza is thin, well-cooked, and made with fresh ingredients. The dishes are also tasty and the portions are adequate. The place is simple but welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. At busy times, the wait can be a bit long, but overall the service is good. Prices are average for the area. CINQUE STELLE meritate! Mese di Agosto, siamo stati parecchie volte a mangiare in questo ristorante e c’è da fare i complimenti a tutto lo staff soprattutto ai ragazzi in cuina!!! Sempre pronti a trovarti un tavolo libero, veloci nel prende le ordinazioni e tutti i piatti provati sono stati ottimi e porzioni abbondanti. Consiglio il riso allo scoglio, pasta e il fritto di pesce!

il riso allo scoglio e gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare erano davvero abbondanti, gustosi e ricchi di pesce per il loro prezzo. la carbonara davvero da rivedere…sicuramente fatta cosi per i turisti stranieri ma molto discutibile con panna prosciutto/pancetta e taaaaanto olio. per il resto gentili

Sono anni che veniamo in vacanza a Finale in estate e solo l’anno scorso abbiamo scoperto La Grotta.
Siamo stati a mangiare per la seconda volta in questo locale e questa volta abbiamo portato anche mia sorella e il suo ragazzo.
E’ SEMPRE UNA GARANZIA.
I proprietari sono delle persone squisite e davvero a modo. (Gentilissimi anche i ragazzi che ci lavorano, cosa non da tutti).
Una selezione di antipasti uno piu’ buono dell’altro, sia di verdure che non (vi consigliamo assolutamente i fichi caramellati col caprino, una bomba).
Tutto fatto in casa da loro.
Buonissimi anche i primi, noi abbiamo preso i ravioli al ragù (buonissimi), pappardelle al pesto (eccezionali), coniglio alla ligure e tagliolini al cinghiale.
Prezzi onestissimi e chiari perché tutto indicato nel menu’ (soprattutto rispetto a certi posti in centro finale dove il rapporto qualità/prezzo e’ pessimo).
Che posso dire… complimenti a realtà come questa dove ancora la ristorazione e’ passione (e non maleducazione o sufficienza).

We've been coming to Finale on summer vacation for years, and only discovered La Grotta last year. This was our second time eating here, and this time we brought my sister and her boyfriend. IT'S ALWAYS A GUARANTEE. The owners are wonderful and truly polite people. (The young people who work there are also extremely kind, which isn't typical for everyone.) A selection of appetizers, each one better than the last, both vegetable and non-vegetarian (we absolutely recommend the caramelized figs with goat cheese, it's amazing). Everything is homemade. The first courses are also delicious; we had the ravioli with meat sauce (delicious), pappardelle with pesto (exceptional), Ligurian-style rabbit, and tagliolini with wild boar. The prices are very fair and clear because everything is listed on the menu (especially compared to some places in the center of Finale, where the quality/price ratio is terrible). What can I say... congratulations to businesses like this, where catering is still a passion (and not rudeness or arrogance). BRAVO!
